Framing Statement; Strengths and Weaknesses
Overall, with the limit of a double spaced two page paper, I think this primary source analysis was pretty good. I received an 80/100 on the assignment, which indicates to me that I have a good understanding of the rubric and of how to complete the assignment. This is a small page limit given the amount the information I could have talked about pertaining to the source, and also relating this back to class notes too. That being said, my introduction was relevant to the topics that were discussed within the source. However, it could have been stronger if I asserted an overarching thesis statement for the whole paper. This would have provided clarity throughout the whole paper. Another thing I should have included was a part about bias within this primary source, because it is very important to address potential bias in a primary source analysis. All of my notes on cost and access of milk are all heading in the right direction, but with a little bit more in depth explanation they would be stronger. All in all, this primary source analysis is heading in the right direction with a good introduction of the source, but needs a bit more analysis of the actual content of the source.
